With 10+ years of individual and classroom teaching in Texas and (previously) Oregon, I love getting to work with flutists of all ages and experience levels. Currently, I’m the Adjunct Professor of Flute at Texas A&M University Kingsville and primary flute instructor for three middle schools in the Austin area.
I believe the best thing a teacher can do is help students understand their own unique learning style. I help my students actualize their skills for consistent success on the instrument and in life, including time management, goal setting, problem solving, and creative thinking.

Cover to Cover Quintet
Cover to Cover is an Austin-based wind quintet that creates new ways for audiences of all ages to experience classical music. The ensemble prioritizes utilizing multimedia elements to create accessible experiences for concert-goers. Musical storytelling, immersive audio-visual performance, and inventive reimagining of classic works are trademark components of Cover to Cover’s programing.
